IDANIKI KATIKIA 2025
MOYO ECO LTD showcased sustainable surface-protection solutions at IDANIKO SPITI 2025 (ΙΔΑΝΙΚΗ ΚΑΤΟΙΚΙΑ), the island’s leading trade fair for home design, construction and energy-efficient living. Acting as the Cypriot representative for European technology partners, MOYO ECO introduced visitors and industry professionals to advanced liquid glass coatings — a next-generation option for long-lasting, low-maintenance protection of building materials, furnishings and bathroom/glass surfaces.
At the exhibition MOYO ECO demonstrated real-world applications of these coatings on concrete, GRC, tile, glass, stone and wood. The company emphasized two main benefits: durability & reduced maintenance, and sustainability through longer service life for treated surfaces. Demonstrations included before/after displays and live application samples that drew steady interest from homeowners, contractors and interior designers.
“Homeowners today expect beautiful finishes that are also low-maintenance and durable,” said Mike Vassiliou MOYO ECO representative at the event. “Our aim is to make high-performance surface protection accessible across Cyprus so that buildings and interiors last longer with less chemical cleaning and waste.”
MOYO ECO LTD unveiled its latest innovation — the MOYO ECO Bird Defender, a sustainable and humane solution designed to prevent birds from nesting or perching on and under Photovoltaic panels.
Developed with a focus on environmental responsibility and architectural aesthetics, the Bird Defender system offers effective protection against bird nesting damage on roofs, solar panels, balconies, façades, and public structures.
Made from a Polycarbonate, weather-resistant, and eco-friendly materials, it provides long-term defence while blending seamlessly into the building’s design.
“The MOYO ECO Bird Defender is our answer to a common urban problem — protecting property while respecting nature,” said a company spokesperson during the exhibition. “Our goal is to make cities cleaner, safer, and more sustainable for everyone.”
During the three-day event, visitors at MOYO ECO’s stand witnessed live demonstrations showcasing how the system deters birds through design rather than repellents, ensuring both humane treatment and building protection.
The product drew interest from architects, property developers, facility managers, and homeowners due to its simplicity of installation making it an eco-conscious solution for building maintenance.
